The Italian Open is also known as the Italian International Championships or Internazionali d’Italia. Many fans search it as the Masters Rome for the men’s competition and WTA Rome 1000 for the women’s competition. Italian Open is actually a yearly professional tennis tournament featuring both men’s and women’s singles & doubles competitions. Masters Rome falls into the ATP 1000 Series category on the ATP World Tour. Very similarly, women’s WTA Rome belongs to the WTA 1000 category on the WTA Tour. The 2023 edition of the alluded competition will start on May 10 with the pre-qualifying rounds. However, the main competition will begin on Sunday, May 14 with the men’s singles 1st round games.
