The 2023 Africa Cup of Nations is shortly known as AFCON 2023 or CAN 2023. AFCON 2023 will be hosted by Ivory Coast. The competition was initially dated to take place during June–July 2023. But weather concerns during summer in the host nation have shifted the competition to January 2024. So AFCON 2023 will actually take place in January 2024.
